๐ฟ FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF CROWN HEIGHTS | PALM SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP
๐ 450 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, NY | Rev. Moore, Presiding
“Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”
Join us for a powerful Palm Sunday celebration as we welcome the King! This morning, Rev. Moore leads us in the Call to Worship and Blessing of the Palms โ a sacred moment of surrender and praise as we wave our branches and declare Hosanna together. We’ll lift our voices in the classic Morning Hymn No. 590, “We’re Marching to Zion,” before witnessing one of the most beautiful ordinances of the church โ Baptism โ led by Deacon Darnella Miller, Deacon Shawn Miller, and Rev. Moore.
From there, we rise in praise with “Hosanna! Blessed Be the Rock,” before Rev. Beulah E. Smith brings us into a time of Congregational Prayer. Our choir lifts the atmosphere with Edwin Hawkins’ “He’s God,” and Sis. Alicia Mason shares what’s happening in our church family during Life at First Baptist.
Rev. Dr. Ava Jolley opens the Word with John 12:12โ19 & 19:16โ22 (NKJV), setting the stage for the Sermonic Meditation, “There’s a Stranger in Town,” brought by Rev. Charles Nicks โ before Rev. Moore delivers the morning message. Service closes with the Invitation and Benediction.
It’s Palm Sunday. The King is riding in. Come worship with us. ๐ฟ
